Scene at the registrar of voters, may 2, 2012, San Diego. 275,000 signatures were turned in, near 1,000,000 statewide. The Job now is creating the most powerful Grassroots Movement in California History. My Caravan journey September September 1- September 10 will sign up helpers who pledge to help the Califonia RIght to Know Label GMO Foods campaign. I am counting heads and planting seeds. I would like “7.5 Million + 2″ and our friends in other states and nations to sign this Petition on Change. Org. “7/5 Million +2″ is based on the idea that we will need a couple more than have the voters in California to win this November 6.
CHILDREN’s CLASS
Freya Sadler, a preteen, is helping Grow a Healthy Pizza with Kids. If Congress wants to call Pizza a Vegetable (Define a couple tbs of tomato sauce as qualifiying a pizza as having vegetables) then we are going to add vegetables to our Pizza. Freya has been a valuable helper and educator about organic at the Hillcrest Farmers; Market in San Diego.
Kids at niños del Cuchama Centro de Permacultura Urbana A.C. in Tecate, Mexico, helped Grow a Healthier Pizza. They ground KAMUT® Khorasan ancient wheat into kernels at the 2nd Festival of Traditional Medicine for the Americas. I returned a few weeks later and a teacher told me the grass was about eight inches tall. The project, Grow a Healthier Pizza, involves getting our beat back with nature through regaining confidence that we can grow some of our own food. Each child received seeds to ‘Plant Your Dream’ I came a few weeks later for World Environment Day at the same location, Professor’s Park. Another teacher greeted me with a lot of love. She said the children called me the “Dreammaker.” I was touched. This amazing school epitomizes good education for children.

I am setting out in 2012 to inspire thousands of new gardeners. I set this intention when I spoke at Organic Listening Day at the USDA in Washington September 20, 2011, and volunteered to be the Enchanted Gardener for the People’s Garden Initiative. The beginning: We can each grow some of our own food in containers and get our beat back with nature. I travel with a silver box that contains the deepest dreams of humanity, and a pot where you are invited to Plant Your Dream. I hand out seeds to others as well and encourage their planting. We have reached a tipping point of consumer initiative thanks to so many divergent voices coming together. A literal grassroots movement of gardeners will inspire the White House, Congress, and its Federal agencies to come to terms with Real Food Safety; this includes GMO proliferation. Our Food Emergency is my pressing issue of the 2012 campaign. As a consumer movement, the Right to Know Initiative reached near 1,000,000 signers in early May to get on the California Ballot. Now we are taking the next step at the ballot box this November. Washington is in the farm bed with Biotech Agriculture. Thousands more small gardeners are needed, and a new generation of organic farmers. We will ignite a movement of 10 million strong or more leading to ‘Uncle Sam Marries “Anti” GMO.’ “Grow a Healthier Pizza” is my contribution toward this victory through blogging, educating and planting strong intentions.

Today is July 16, 2012 in the History of Peace on Earth. I will leave on the Caravan, September 1-10, to the National Heirloom Expo, September 11-13, 2012. There are approximately 45 days until I leave. The National Heirloom Expo is about seven wins before the day we can claim victory at the poles for the Right to Know Label GMOs. This can be a turnaround event on a Leg of the Journey to Win Back Our Sacred Seeds.
Each day between now and November 6 counts and asks we each contribute toward creating the Greatest Grass Roots Movement in California History. This is a Big Chapter in the Rock Your Soul Opera called Life on Planet Earth. Our friends at Monsanto Corp and their allies will toss more money into educating the people of California about why it is unnecessary for them to have the Right to Know and why Label GMOs need not be Labeled.
There are hundreds of good reasons why the people of the world do not need to Know the ingredients in their food, but none of these reasons are as compelling as giving each person a choice to choose what kind of future of food they want. This is a Consumer Rights Issue. Most of us do not know how to eat. Most of us have not yet discovered that the purpose of food is to help ‘Plant Your Dream.’
There was once an American Hero named Dr. Harvey W. Wiley M.D. He had a wonderful vision and got his vision into law in 1906. His vision was called the Pure Food Law. This law would have outlawed the Junk Food we have today. It would have outlawed soft drinks. It would have taken a stand against adulterated and misbranded products masquerading as food. Special Interests back then felt that they deserved to make a profit and that this was more important than the future of our children’s health. Dr. Wiley was part of the movement of Food Reform in America. Alfred W. McCann, another man skilled in ‘The Science of Eating” and “Starving America, stood by Wiley side when the most powerful corporate interests of their day took a stand that Coca-Cola, and depraved grains served their “Moneybags” more than a healthy American eater.
Dr Wiley stepped down from government service in 1912 and went on the work to inspire the Seal of Good Housekeeping while working for that magazine. Today, we need a new Seal, a new Standard of Excellence, that is awarded to individuals within working within the Corporate World and within Industry.
The new Seal and movement is ‘Beet Keepers, Return!’ Our world in poise now to harvest 1000 years of peace, if enough of us encourage those in California to vote yes for the Right to Know-Label GMOs.
My stand is not that Genetically Modified Ingredients are all bad or that Organic food is all Good. My stand is that GMO Lovers and Organic Lovers need to to have an honest open Dialogue on Science, Ethics, and Food on Facebook.
My stand is that this is a time for Beet Keepers, Return! We have lost our beat with nature. By the simple act of beginning to grow some of our own food, even one beet in a pot, or a host of other simple to grow Companion Plants, we can regain our beat with nature.
Decisions based on a standard–whose goal is to bring in 1000 years of peace is what I want to see. We are Seeds of Peace, and the Earth and the Soul are Soilmates. Where do you stand? Beet Keepers, Return!

Robert Slovak and I planted dreams that he would give a talk at the Pacific College of Oriental Medicine when we first met four years ago at the Pacific Symposium. I introduced Original Quinton Marine Plasma to East Haradin, a doctoral student and one of my favorite practitioners of Traditional Chinese Medicine. The invite was extended in Spring to pursue this talk. Robert Slovak suggested the class might also invite Dr. Roy Dittman, an expert on the Original Quinton Marine Plasma and its Therapeutic uses. I want to pursue this invite.

Teaching at the 2nd Festival of Traditional Medicine of the Americas was a high light of my Spring Schedule. The event drew together healers from all over Mexico and students keeping the Dream Alive for Indigenous healing practices. I introduced Original Quinton Marine Plasma to healers from the Volcano region. Another healer who was sharing her healing gifts and making medicines also was introduced to the products. “If commercial interests–once again– have convinced Congress–to do business as usual–and that profits are more important than our children having improved lunches in schools, if Congress has now said that a few tablespoons of tomato sauce define Pizza as a Vegetable, then we, as Conscious Consumers will Grow a Healthier Pizza through the action of the ’7.5 Million + 2 Petition.’ To top off this pizza, we want to know the quality of our Ingredients. If pizza is made from cans and containers that have ingredients that are made with GMOs–Genetically Modified Organisms–We have a ‘Right To Know,’ and say “Label GMO’s!” just like people in near 50 other nations. Together now, the people of California–with support from people of other states and nations signing as well–will build the Greatest Grass Roots Movement in California History. Millions of Californians are without their knowledge eating GMOs every day. GMOs are Genetically Modified Organisms. They have been in our food for a number of decades. Somebody thought this was O.K. to include GMOs in the daily foods we eat, but did not take the time to ask us first if we wanted them there. Near 50 nations of the world have the integrity to give their people choice to know if they are eating GMOs in their corn, soy, and a host of other foods, but in the US, since the inception of the idea of the FDA in 1906, Commercial interests have placed profits over producing healthy kids and influenced heavily our food supply. Congress, in Fall 2011, declared that tomato sauce qualified Pizza as a vegetable to keep from the added expense of improving foods in our schools. Toward that end, we are coming together, bonding together, opening an honest Dialogue on Science, Ethics, and Food about GMOs. We are here to educate ourselves, and our fellow Californians that we might each stand in the light about what we are eating. We believe that in signing this petition we are Cultivating Food Justice on our own tables. Our bottomline is that we have a Right to Know our food ingredients and to Label GMO Foods. We intend to create a massive grassroots movement to support this.
We love California. We love good food. Many of us are gaining confidence now that we can grow some of our own foods. We trust the process of initiative in the Golden State. We come together now as registered voters, and as others around the country and from many nations, that the people of California become aware that GMOs are in many of our foods. We each, endorse the California Right to Know Label GMOs. We are letting each other know that we are standing together here to Grow a Healthier Pizza for our Kids.

WHAT’S UP WITH THE NUMBER 7.5 MILLION + 2 CALIFORNIANS?
7.5 Million is half of the number of Registered Voters in California who voted in the last general election. We need a few more than half, whatever the number who register, to win.
I was with Pamm Larry, May 29, 2012. Someone asked, how many people voted in California? She said 15 million. She said that we needed a couple people plus 50 % to win the California Right to Know Label GMOs Ballot Proposition. So…I thought…that meant we needed a magical number: “7.5 Million + 2 Californians” to Vote “Yes.” Get it?
The ’7.5 Million + 2 Petition’ is about helping to build a powerful Grass Roots Movement in step with the beat of nature. Grow a Healthier Pizza in our Rally Cry!
