The Comeback of Joe The Farmer
HOW TO HELP JOE THE FARMER, AKA J.R. ORGANICS NOW
1. Shop Your Local Farmers’ Market.
J.R. Organics is at these Farmers’ Markets in the San Diego- Los Angeles Region of Southern California.
2. Join the J.R. Organics CSA.
CSA means Community Supported Agriculture. For the past six or more years, members of the community have been buying into the farm. These allows Joe The Farmer, AKA Joe Rodriguez Jr and family, to cover certain operation expenses and purchases. Members buy in and receive a box of fresh food.
Please study the J.R. Organics site for specifics about joining the CSA and Locations of Farmers’ Markets near you:
NO MATTER WHAT, JOE THE FARMER NEVER, Never, Never GAVE UP!
One day Joe the Farmer was going to cut lettuce to bring food to the Farmers’ Market. Then a big storm came. The rain turned to hail, big golf ball size ice rocks. The lettuce was hurt. It was cut into little pieces. He planted more lettuce seeds and was hopeful. To buy seeds to grow beautiful lettuce and other vegetables to take to the Farmers’ Market for all the Friends of the Farm he loved so much, and to help give money to all his farm helpers, Joe the Farmer and his family grew flowers.
Papa Joe, Joe’s Papa, knew that everybody loved flowers!
Papa Joe, Joe’s Papa, knew that everybody loved flowers! His flowers were famous. Some of them even decorated floats in the Big Tournament of Roses Parade on New Year’s Day. One day Joe the Farmer was sitting in a field of floors among all the bees. It was sunny. He was happy because there were so many flowers to take to market that he could buy a turkey for Thanksgiving and a Christmas Tree.
The Next day a big fire came…
The next day a big fire came and all the plants and flowers were gone. “Mother Nature is my friend, and I am her friend. She will send us some good years,” he said. Joe was a man who had great faith, No matter what, Joe the Farmer NEVER, Never, Never gave up!
No Matter What, Joe the Farmer NEVER, Never, Never gave up!
As the years went on, a lot of catastrophes continued to hit joe, but Joe kept finding new ways to go up and down the mountain.
MAY THE FARM BE WITH YOU, ALWAYS!!!!

Joe the Farmer rescuing “Princess” Lettuce. Joe the Farmer, in my story “The Comeback of Joe The Farmer” is an archetype for all local organic farmers who are the equivalent today of the heroes named G.I. Joe of the Korean war period. The local organic farmers are holding the line for us against extreme health conditions today that trace to a need for Food Reform. Food Reform begins with the soul impulses to plant our deepest dreams being awakened and having the trace minerals to move our energy through this miracle that is our body and mind. The ability to grow food that feeds the soil of our dreams is in the hands of Joe the Farmer. He is in touch with the weather of our seasons, the hope and prayer for our fulfillment.

DIALOGUE FROM THE OPENING OF STORE WARS
O.B. CANOLI: “These are dark times, Young Cuke!
YOUNG CUKE: “What do you mean, O.B. Canoli?
O.B CANOLI: For over a thousand generations, organic food like us, lived in harmony with the ways of the Farm.
YOUNG CUKE: The Farm???
O.B CANOLI: Yes Cuke, The Farm is what gives us our Power. It a kind of a Field, that creates all edible Things.
YOUNG CUKE: Wow!
O.B. CANOLI: But Alas, The Market has been taken over by the dark side of the farm. An Empire of Pollution and Pesticides has ruthlessly conquered the Market, nearly wiping out our Organic Birthright with unsustainable short sighted practices like Genetic Engineering, Irradiation, and massive chemical pesticide use. Seduced by artificially lowered prices, people don’t even want to know where their food comes from. But there is a new hope. A growing resistance, called the Organic Rebellion is fighting back!!!!
You must learn the ways of the farm if you are to join the rebellion and rescue Princess Lettuce!!!!…

TWO: PLANTING SEED DREAMS WITH THE RODRIGUEZ FAMILY
It is time now to focus teachings about supporting our local farmer and becoming an eminent gardener of America the Beautiful. This story of The Comeback of Joe the Farmer addresses deep issues facing the local family farmer through my close relationship with the Fifth Generation Rodriguez Farming Family of San Diego County. Their journey through the years sheds light on the journey that many organic farmers are facing today, especially the smaller farmers.

ROBERT QUINN OF KAMUT INTERNATIONAL (R) AND ELDON PFILE
Among the Sponsors I want to thank now is Robert Quinn, an Eminent Gardener of America the Beautiful. Today there are many acres of land growing Kamut® Khorasan organic non GMO ancient wheat. These seeds started as a handful of rescued grains that he saved a few decades ago. There are many farmers earning a livelihood today from his simple action.
