MY PURSUIT OF TEAM USA “Dare to dream again. For dreaming is the language of your soul, And nothing your soul truly desires could ever be wrong or impossible.” ― Jacob Nordby

My name is Julie Cattell. I have a dream.

My dream is to run for the USA. I did not run in high school. I did not run in college. Some might think that my dream is an impossible one, but like Jacob Nordby, I don’t believe in “impossible”.  I recently gave up my career and moved to San Diego, CA where I train with a world-class track coach (Bev Kearney) along side world-class runners. I was given the chance of a lifetime to honor myself and my dream and I am not letting this pass one more time. I believe in hard work, positivity, and knowing, not just believing, my goal is achievable. I won’t back down. I WILL reach that finish line; running for the United States of America is in my soul and in my blood. Literally!

SAL SUDS CLEANER IN A SPRAY BOTTLE

By Lisa Bronner, Going Green with a Bronner mom August 26, 2010 I just realized that I have never blogged about my Sal Suds spray bottle despite the fact that it is my most reached for house-cleaning weapon. In fact, I think I disappoint some people when they ask me what I use on various household surfaces, because the answer is mostly “Sal Suds in a spray bottle.” They seem to be looking for something more exciting. This is the jack of all trades in my house. It’s great on my finished wood table, granite counters, tile floors, pleather high chair, plastic toys, painted walls, microsuede bar stools, metal grill… In fact, I haven’t found much house stuff I wouldn’t use it on.

This list doesn’t name every possibility but shows that there is very little that can’t be cleaned with the Suds. The long and short of it is, if it’s not on this list, then I probably didn’t think of it. Sal Suds is safe for any surface or material that can get wet (but it’s not meant for people or animals – it can be drying). However, if you have something that’s iffy, do a spot test.

Dilutions:

Laundry: 2-3 Tbsp. for a large load in a top loading washer. Optional: ½ c. baking soda in wash cycle, 1 c. vinegar in rinse cycle. Use half these amounts for HE washes
