The Journey Out of The Narrow Places to The Promised Land April 4- May 22, 2015
May we find Beauty, Even in Bitter Herbs.
This is a #PlantYourDreamBlog that shares an overview of my Journey from the Narrow Places to The Promised Land for the period of April 4-May 22. My Daily Garden Management Journal will be on Curezone, HERE. This period has been one of my most productive at home during the year. I express my goals on the Curezone Blog link.
WHAT IS A GARDEN MANAGEMENT JOURNAL?
WHAT IS PLANT PARENTHOOD?
“Garden” is a metaphor for Consciousness; The “Management” is intended to be each of us in our own Lives; “Journal” refers to recording your Journey through life and see your life as one page in the History of Peace on Earth; “Plant Parenthood” is a name for the process where through parenting plants, we are reparented in the Laws of Nature, intended to guide us on the hero/heroines Journey. Keep a Journal. It will slow you down. Experience and Patience are the rules of living well. Journaling is an honoring process. It is taking time to honor our Sacred Seed. In honoring our Sacred Seed, we help Win Back Our Sacred Seeds. Winning Back Our Sacred Seeds is my theme for 2015 that I will teach at the National Heirloom Expo, September 8, 2015. http://www.curezone.org/blogs/fm.asp?i=1635991
DAILY GARDEN MANAGEMENT JOURNAL FOR APRIL 4-MAY 22, 2015
DATES OF SHAVUOT
Shavuot 2015 begins in the evening of Saturday, May 23 and ends in the evening of Monday, May 25, 2015
April 3, 2015
The First Day of Passover began at Sunset on Friday, April 3, 2015. The Second Sedar was Saturday night. Saturday night, April 4, 2015 was the first day to begin to count the Omer. This was #OmerDay 1. I am keeping a record of my personal transformation during period of April 4- May 22, 2015.
Astrological Significance of the Lunar Eclipse
April 5, 2015
April 5, 2015, Sunday was Easter Sunday. It was also until sunset #OmerDay 2. The new day in the Jewish Tradition begins with the sunset and runs through the following day until the next day begins at the next Sunset. I met Marcin and Nicole on Easter Sunday. They and two brothers of Marcin came over on that Easter Sunday. We planted #SeedDreams in our #SacredSuccessCircle that was just being renovated.
I also visited the Hope Restored Church-Swahili for the first time on Easter Sunday earlier that day. This was a powerful experience. I have set in motion a #SeedDream to plant #OpenAccesstofood for All!. I see introducing this community to Real Food as part of that #SeedDream
April 6, 2015
The morning of April 6 was the time I have called The Miracle Rain. The rain lasted less than an hour. I was able to fill part of a bucket. This photo shows the raindrops on the horseradish that I took later in the week to my #PassoverVillageRetreat off #AngelesCrestHighway. It also rained in other parts of Los Angeles and Orange County. The Miracle Rain was used in ritual at the close of the Passover Village. I had visions of sadness that I had not saved some of it. On April 14, #OmerDay 11, I visited my Twin Soul in Orange County. She had filled a container with more of The Miracle Rain. I was grateful to have more of it in my possession for future ritual use.
April 12,2015; #OmerDay 8
Week of Limits, Gevurah; Day of LovingKindness
After a difficult #JourneythroughNarrowPlacestoPromisedLand, I fully experienced the clouds lifting at our #PassoverVillageRetreat off #AngelesCrestHighway.
This Calendar helps to keep track of the days of the counting of the Omer.
In the ancient times, this was a counting of the Barley grains.
The Wheat Crop comes in around Shavuot. I grow ancient wheat called Kamut® Khnorasan Ancient Wheat. I encourage others to do the same.
Raindrops on “A Journey of Awakening, the morning of April 6, a few days after the Gov of California said that because of severe draught, we would have a mandatory cut back on water use by 25%. What if everyone captured every drop of rain?
This is a very special book that I use every year. It is called “A journey of Awakening.” It is written by Rabbi Ted Falcon, a man who decades ago, before he ever established his ministry in the San Fernando Valley, and then in the northwest, visited by home here in San Diego. The years when I deeply study and use this book, I have benefitted.

MY FACEBOOK CHECK IN, APRIL 8, 2015 AS I PREPARE TO LEAVE FOR MY ANNUAL #PASSOVERVILLAGERETREAT
FROM FACEBOOK APRIL 8, 2015
My @RareSeeds Journey to The National Heirloom Exposition Sept 8-10, in Santa Rosa, CA is guiding me now to plant a number of crucial #SeedDreams for our world. Some of these dreams are taking shape at home as part of the new #EnchantedGardenRareSeedsOutpost sponsored by Baker Creek Heirloom Seed Company & others; Other dreams are taking shape in my San Diego Community as I bring home the energy of #expowest. #OpenAccesstoFood for All! in guiding me into a series of local projects, including giving energy to the Hope Restored Swahili Community, as well as the Herb planting Project that Marcin Leśniak is grounding at higher levels at Pacific College of Oriental Medicine – San Diego.
The period between April 4- May 22, is symbolically a time for “A Journey of Awakening” for all who want to take this ride. In the Jewish Tradition, between the Spring Holidays of Passover to Shavuot 49 days later, there is a monumental surge of energy for each of us to refine our game. You do not have to be Jewish to do Kaballistic Meditations. I use as a reference a guidebook by Rabbi Ted Falcon who, as I am, is deeply involved in Interfaith work. The #SeedDream, #JourneythroughtheNarrowPlacestoPromisedLand is a theme that has universal references. The Narrow Places exist in each of us. These are the places where we are struck. The metaphors from Passover address a journey from slavery to freedom. The metaphor of Shavuot, 49 days after Passover, is a reference to being at the Mountaintop where we Receive the Law and Marry God as a result of the work we have done on our trek through the inner landscape of and Passage to turn our breakdowns intro breakthroughs.
Passover relates for me to Spring Cleaning, and re-establishing Feng Shui and Divine Order. It is a time of decluttering. The jewish people in the orthodox tradition clean out all their “chometz” during this time…puffed up foods as well as ego notions (that’s the ideal goal as expressed in my Jewish Renewal Tradition). I invite all to read this #PlantYourDreamBlog on the Journey. http://plantyourdream.net/?p=20267
My main #PlantYourDreamBlog on #OpenAccesstoFood for All! is here, http://plantyourdream.net/?p=20031 I want to thank Walt Robb Co-CEO @WholeFoodMarket for creating a Super Session on Food Access and the Natural Industry Response March 6, that brought me into planting dreams with L.A. Guerrilla Gardener Ron Filney as well as Robin Emmons, another community Gardener organizer in Chicago.
Ron inspired me with this vision: the Good Neighbors on his street will each grow different foods together and share them! On my God! I want that on my block near SDSU San Diego. I am closer than ever at home to having the team to really transform the 1/3 acre where I have lived since the early 80’s thanks to my co-partners Sanda Everette & Brian Everette of the San Mateo Eco Village and Dragon Belly Farm. We are making massive physical improvements at home through my ability to put together a team out of the personality types I find challenging, yet it is working!!!! Truly this is a mastership journey at home and the end result will be that I learn how to live life without creating Kidney stones or persistent diarrhea! I am making progress!
The culmination of my work will be that truly the Enchanted Garden where I live will fulfill the intention to be as Promised Land, leaving a legacy for others to enjoy as well as be teaching center through the years of hard work here.
The Enchanted Garden is a name for our Renewed Earth that we can plant one seed and #SeedDream at a time. It resounds with the dream to bring in 1000 years of peace because there are a number of us active in the world as Sacred Seeds.
This to me is something to live for, something to be well for!
I am also writing an article that I intend for the May (or June) issue of The Life Connection Magazine called “Open Access to Food for All!” The link to that article in process will be forthcoming (I’m just getting started on the Draft…).
Dearest friends! We are living through exciting times! Times when every drop of water matters, times when we are being called back to remember “This Earth is Ours!” so love her and be the best we are born to be.
This brings me to this photo. It is a photo of a horseradish plant in Spring, catching the energy after being long underground with little activity. Roots, be they horseradish or potatoes, are now beginning to stir! What does the horseradish teach us now?
It says to me, “Find Beauty, even in bitter things!” Rather than complain, or feel downtrodden too long, or stuck in our ways, rise up. Rise up as the Spring, as the Resurrection metaphor of Easter. Rise up, now, and Win Back Our Sacred Seeds, beginning with Winning Back Our Sacred Seed!
I am Leslie Goldman, in prep for my annual #PassoverVillageRetreat in the Angeles Crest. Sending you my love and blessing.

This Facebook Album was started April 4 during the Lunar Eclipse of April 4, The
first Day of Passover. The second night, it is a tradition I follow to do daily Meditations through May 22. Reading from Rabbi Ted Falcon’s Book, “A Journey of Awakening.” These are hashtaged #OmerDay This day, May 22, is followed by a three-day holiday called Shavuot. In my Jewish Renewal Tradition this is symbolized by a time of Marriage with God and personal integration of the worlds within us.
The preparation for Shavuot, a mountain top peak experience, is preparation for entry into the Promised Land.
In my personal metaphors, the Enchanted Garden is a name for The Promised Land. I also name the land where I live in San Diego, the Enchanted Garden.
This period, the #OmerDay 50 day count period, has been one of my most transformational times of my year. I am keeping a Garden Management Journal (GMJ) in two places. My daily Garden Management Journal is on the #PlantYourDreamBlog Curezone. The other on the #PlantYourDreamBlog WordPress.
I highly recommend this event. It is one most transformational event I attend during the year in a Jewish context.
Please check out the public Passover Village (PV) site to get on the mailing list. The event is held during the Passover Period from Thursday to Sunday. Offically the first Council is Friday morning. I highly recommend arriving on the Thursday.
