Planting #OpenAccesstoFood for All!

I’m on a @rareseeds journey to Win Back Our Sacred Seeds. I’ve got #OpenAccesstoFood for All is on my plate among other projects. Reclaiming our Birthright to Grow Our Own Food is a key to #OpenAccesstoFood for All! I have projects I have in mind for our land, the #EnchantedGardenRareSeedOutpost; for my street the #EnchantedGardenPantry; and for The National Heirloom Exposition @Heirloomexpo organized by Baker Creek Heirloom Seed Company. I will teach there September 8-10, 2015 in Santa Rosa, CA as well as work with the youth, grinding ancient wheat and giving away heirloom seeds.

In route to The National Heirloom Expo  #OpenAccesstoFood took on specific branches.  These included in order of #SeedDreams being planted:

#OpenAccesstoFood for membersof the HopeRestored-Swahili Church

There is a lovely high spirited church on the same street at my #Hillcrest Farmers Market, 9-2 pm that meets weekly. Numbers of the members from African nations are now finding their homes here.  This #SeedDream includes making friends here and providing organic #Local high quality food from the Farmers.  I would like to play a role in building a bridge between individuals of the church and farmers who frequent the Hillcrest Farmers Market each week.

My 68 VW Van, The Enchanted GardenMobile Guides me on Wonderful Adventures Locally in San Diego and On the Road

I am currently being guided to meet various Key Souls, as I drive my 68 Van on its mission–The Enchanted Garden Mobile’s Journey to Win Back Our Sacred Seeds,  How very inspiring to meet so many people who approach me because of this Celebrity Van!

The EG Mobile and its journey to Win Back Our Sacred Seeds was inspired by another vehicle, The Conscious Goods Alliance Bus

Conscious Goods Alliance Bus and EG Mobile Tour Bus to Heirloom Expo

Years ago, another vehicle, a bigger vehicle, a vegetable oil driven bus on a Conscious Goods Alliance  mission was driving around the country and stayed for a week at my home in San Diego. The EG Mobile, in its yearly drive from San Diego to Santa Rosa, CA toward @heirloomexpo, and around San Diego, is fulfilling part of that same mission.

In its travels, the Conscious Goods Alliance bus would visit various Whole Foods Markets where it would give props to products of its sponsors.  In a similar manner I have already started visiting Whole Foods Markets.  I am meeting Team Leaders.  I am uploading Facebook Albums.  I am looking at giving awards to the top stores I visit that each have unique missions to serve their local communities.

Here are a few #PlantYourDreamBlogs I have written so far as I visit Whole Food Markets

The Relationship between Whole Foods Market, my Local San Diego Activities, and between Whole Foods Market and the National Heirloom Expo Run Deep

Teaching at Education and Fun Day at the National Heirloom Expo will take place on September 10, 2015 This year

Leslie Goldman WFM Pizza Boxes @Heirloom Expo

Leslie, that’s me, teaching the kids at @HeirloomExpo, The National Heirloom Expo 2013.  I was using Pizza Boxes from nearby @WholeFoodsMarket Santa Rosa, a gift, to help me deliver my message about Growing a Healthier Pizza.  On Education and Fun Day at the Expo, Day Three this year of the 2015 Pure World’s Fair Event, more than 1000 kids show up.  My experience with Nadine Dominguez teaching as well, starts with hand grinding ancient wheat from Kamut®Khorasan wheat grains as well as giving away Baker Creek Heirloom Seeds @RareSeeds, not to mention Dr. Bronners Magic Soaps, and bumper stickers!   Amazingly, and inspiringly, these Heirloom Expo Kids are all excited about their School Gardens, one of the fundraisers of the three day event.  The Kids covet the seeds I offer them,  as other kids cover Halloween Candy!  What a delight!  The energy excites me just thinking about it.

STOPPING AT @WHOLEFOODS MARKET AND FARMERS’ MARKETS

I envision stopping at various Farmers’ Markets, @wholefoodsmarket stores, and other destinations during part of August and September 2015.  I will share teachings about Winning Back Our Sacred Seeds.  My tour is sponsored, thanks Dr. Bronner’s Magic Soaps,  Frey Organic Wines, Bragg Live Food Products,  KAMUT International, and Eden Foods.  There are a few more companies that I have in mind to honor on the road for their good works.

KEY ELEMENTS AND #SEED DREAMS FOR THE 2015 TOUR

A WEEK IN THE PETALUMA SEED BANK VICINITY OF NORTHERN CAL

OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA

One of my key places where I will spend time is at and near the Petaluma Seed Bank. The Petaluma Seed Bank, western headquarters for Baker Creek Heirloom Seed Company epitomizes a coming day when all commercial banks will offer @rareseeds to customers as our nation transitions back to encouraging Good Neighbors to grow and share high quality food.

In Plan A, I will be in the Petaluma, Santa Rosa, and Sebastol area for at least a week telling people about The National Heirloom Expo and my Campaign to Grow A Healthier Pizza.

STABILITY AT HOME

My goal for May, June, and July 2015:

I affirm I am now stabilizing my home community so I am free to travel in August and September.

A BRIEF HISTORY OF #OPEN ACCESS TO FOOD FOR ALL!

The #PlantYourDreamBlog Project, #OpenAccesstoFood for All is influenced by #RonFinley and #RobinEmmons who planted with me this Food Access #SeedDream at #expowest, The Natural Products Expo in March 2015. #RonFinley says that more people in his neighborhood of South Los Angeles die from #DriveThroughs than #Driveby shootings. I have to say the same for Real Food Access in the #SDSUNeighborhood where I live and on many colleges today. I live within walking distance of a 35,000 Student Campus, yet how many of the 17-21 year old students know what real food is?

I have taken a stand in my own front yard where the #EnchantedGardenRareSeedOutpost is now growing. I am seeing the first harvest as the Winter turns to Spring.

March 25, 2015;6:14 am

There’s a place I need to go before I go anywhere. My theme as we enter the season of going through the Narrow Places and taking the Journey to the Mountain Top is coming home. Winning Back Our Sacred Seeds, the talk I will give at @HeirloomExpo September 8, as part of The National Heirloom Exposition September 8-10 in Santa Rosa, CA begins now, here in my own backyard. I am under the influence of #RonFinley and #RobinEmmons who planted with me #OpenAccesstoFood at #expowest. #RonFinley says that more people in his neighborhood of South Los Angeles die from #DriveThroughs than #Driveby.

I have to say the same for Real Food Access in the #SDSUNeighborhood. I begin this Album on the birthday of the man who taught me the #naturehasaRemedy #DrBernardJensen. Today is March 25, 2015. The Journey to #WinBackOurSacredSeeds has begun and it starts here #WinningBackMyOwnSacredSeed in communication with others where I live.

 DEDICATIONS

I Dedicate the Planting of #OpenAccsss to food on March 25, 2015 to my Teacher Dr. Bernard Jensen.

He was born on this day in 1907 and made his Passage in February 2001

Dr Bernard Jensen Open Access to Food Planted on his Birthday 2015

I began a Facebook Album on #OpenAccesstoFood for All on the birthday of the man who taught me the #naturehasaRemedy #DrBernardJensen. I began this album on March 25, 2015.

I further dedicate my work now to Dr. Bernard Jensen, who in a dream handed me off a baton.  I ask God I continue to have the strength to receive that baton.  in our first real ride together at his then Hidden Valley Health Ranch, he told me the story of Alfred W. McCann, a muckraker journalist.  He saw in me the capacity to follow in McCann’s Footsteps.  McCann wrote a book in 1919 or earlier called, “The Science of Eating.”
